Protesters cleared from Tahrir Square by force

An Army bus burns in Tahrir Square as protesters mill about.

In the early morning a few protesters remain and gather on Tahrir looking over the rubble and trash in their square. A few try to rally protesters while others build barricades.

At around 2 police entered beside the Egyptian Museum and cleared out Tahrir Square with gunfire by about 3:30.

One of the largest groups of protesters since the end of the revolution gathered in Tahrir Friday, calling for the trial of Hosni Mubarak and officials close to him.
